LESSON TWELVE

DREAMFEATHERS

Feathers are one of my favorite subjects to paint. They can be richly detailed, expressive, and loose. We can paint them in the colors that they appear in nature, or we can create an array of colorful feathers with combinations right from our imaginations. When I create feathers from my imagination, I call them dreamfeathers. They make beautiful gifts to frame or to send as notecards. They are also really simple to make, while giving us practice using the tips of our brushes for fine and graceful lines.
