5. Team Collaboration and Content Sharing

Organization and team collaboration of documents and information has become mainstream within the enterprise. It has actually been a bit of a progression from the early days of knowledge management and enterprise taxonomies to the current trend of tagging content with what makes sense to the individual allowing us to find content where it lives across the enterprise and the Internet. Much of the formality has been replaced with the ability to share and collaborate in an almost effortless manner, while still keeping some structure in place and enforcing security concerns.
