Writing Less Code – CMSs, No-Code Solutions, and Generative AI

Developers are an inherently lazy bunch. I know that sounds weird but hear me out! We are always looking for ways to write less code. Sometimes, there is a good reason for that: if someone has already put a ton of time and effort into writing a library that, say, encrypts data, then why should we waste our time re-inventing that particular wheel? We probably shouldn’t in most cases.

Instead, we’re always looking for tools to automate tasks, to generate code for us, or to otherwise save us from ourselves! Of course, I was being facetious earlier when I said we’re lazy.
