So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Client-Side Software for Internet Research
There are several kinds of software programs for Internet research. Some of them have to do directly with searching, while some of them just make the everyday tasks of sifting and directing information a lot easier.
Search Software
If you do a lot of research and you like to track your search results over time, you may want to try client-side search software. This software is installed on your desktop and goes out and gathers information from search engines. Copernic (http://www.copernic.com/en/index.html) is probably the most famous search software, though there are others. Copernic comes in everything from a free version to a professional version that costs $79.95.
