Finding the Community Help
To find community help you first must find the community. Google Groups is the largest site for getting computer help, specifically in the comp* newsgroups.
Google Groups
You can limit your Google Groups search to the comp hierarchy of newsgroups by adding “group:comp*” to your query. Start with that and then add any keywords that might be relevant. If you want to find information on passwords in Windows XP, try:
password "windows xp" group:comp*
When you get your search results be sure to list them by date so you're not reading very old or outdated information. Notice that the search results include the newsgroup where the post appears. You may find that a particular newsgroup or set of newsgroups contains relevant ...
