7.1. Multicore Architecture
Recall that we discussed in Chapter 2 that a service engine is a single logical machine. Thus, multicore deployment means a scenario in which several e-Speak registered resources are deployed on and communicate across several logical machines. To facilitate such communication, the logical machines themselves must be able to communicate with each other. The route from a client on one logical machine to a service hosted on another logical machine can then be established, as depicted in Figure 7.2.
