I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

According to current trends, Java is the most widely used language, supporting a variety of environments—standalone applications, web applications, mobile environments, etc. This section is meant as a refresher or act as a basic introduction guide to running Java. It is not meant to be an elaborate course on Java lest the book get diluted from its main focus. For a detailed overview on the language, the reader is advised to consult various tutorials available on the web.
