It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
A.2. Emscripten
At the time of this book’s writing, 1.38.45 was the latest version of the Emscripten SDK. The toolkit is updated regularly, so you may have a newer version.
Before you go through the process of downloading and installing the SDK, you should check and see if it’s already installed. To do this, you can run the following command in a console window to view the list of tools that were installed with the SDK:
emsdk list
If the SDK is installed, you should see a list similar to that in figure A.6. If the SDK is installed and is the version you need for this book (or higher), you can skip to section A.3.
