Appendix A. Microsoft and Windows Tips

Since so much of the deployed base of end-user operating systems is Windows, applications designers naturally may take Windows tools into account more than others. There seem to be more WebDAV-related tools somehow related to Microsoft or Windows than otherwise. In any case, some of this information can be adapted to other platforms with a little research.

This appendix provides some random tool information, tips, and tricks to help administrators, application developers, and tech support.
