Building a First Application Prototype
Before we plunge in, let's briefly discuss the requirements of the application.
We want the online forum to be accessible by all. In other words, it should be readable by those who are not registered users, as well as those who are. However, we shall restrict the posting of topics and replies to those who are registered users only.
This doesn't necessarily suggest that we need to build the first few pages as direct actions, however, if we want to make the forum bookmarkable, then we'll indeed have to.
However, before we build the application with direct actions, as an intermediate step, let's build a quick and dirty first prototype. As such, this doesn't need to be direct actionable.
