Chapter 16. Monitoring distributed systems
Having the ability to measure and monitor system interactions helps information technology
(IT) to provide business continuity. Monitoring capabilities plays a key role in successfully
managing enterprise systems. In WebSphere Application Server, there are a number of tools
that can contribute to an organization’s monitoring strategy and provide insights into the
performance of the application server.
