Chapter 5 Server Build
First, this chapter discusses the frequently seen problems in the WebSphere server build phase. Then, it presents the major operations in the WebSphere server build applying WebSphere engineering operations framework. The server build phase includes both system design and system build with the following four parts:
• WebSphere server build planning
• WebSphere topology design
• WebSphere server build and configuration
• WebSphere server build verification and validation
Stress-testing-based server verification and validation is intended only for large, complex, and critical production and pre-production environments.
