Appendix A. Installing, configuring Lotus Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing, Lotus Team Workplace 395
8. The next page (Figure A-12) displays the settings for the new Domino server. Set or select
the following parameters:
a. In the Web Browsers field, select
HTTP and IIOP.
Collaborative portlets and components use IIOP to access and retrieve information
from Domino databases. If IIOP is running, portlets that access Domino-based
databases include a
picker feature that is available to portlet users. The picker feature
displays a list of content from Domino databases from which the portlet user can
select. Although IIOP is not required, it is a useful feature for the portal user.
b. In the Directory Services field, select the
LDAP check box. This enables LDAP support
for the names.nsf database.
c. In the Enterprise Connection Services field, deselect
DECS.
d. In the Advanced Services field, select
Partition.
e. When you are finished, click the
>> button.
