19.1. About Web console
The Web console can be run from any browser while communicating with the WebSphere Administrative Server locally or on a remote machine. It is useful in situations where there is a need to view the WebSphere topology through a firewall.
Two main kinds of tasks can be performed using the Web administrative console:
Creating objects and configuring them
Exporting the workspace to XML
