A VERY DIFFICULT AND RISKY DECISION
During my high school and college years, I pursued my wife Kim for over four years just to get her to go on a single date with me. She said “No!” over 200 times—to a movie, to a walk in the park, to a trip to the mall, to window shop. No matter how small my request, it was always met with a distinctive no, followed by a “Move on, you are not my type, and you never will be.” How I went from four straight years of rejection after rejection to having Kim say yes to my marriage proposal is beyond the scope of this book.
