RECEPTION LIGHTING AND EXECUTION

From the photographer’s perspective, the reception segment of the wedding is unique because it’s when people are at their most active but also the least aware of the camera. During the reception, the photographer simply “disappears,” and guests are unaware of his or her whereabouts. Guests are far too busy drinking, dancing, watching the entertainment, or mingling with other guests to notice the photographer. This information has great implications and provides the photographer with the ability to step right into the action without being noticed or interrupted. It is fascinating!
