4 Introduction to Machine Learning
The previous chapters focused on providing the necessary background for data analytics. Here, we will discuss some basic machine learning techniques including linear and logistic regression. In addition to that we will also talk about the issues related to bias and variance which plague the machine learning models leading them to overfit. Finally, we will discuss strategies for regularization to address overfitting issues in machine learning model.
