Adapting the Workshop to Fit the Participants
When you read the title of this appendix, you may wonder why, in a book for trainers, there would be an appendix about rewriting trainer outlines and other workshop materials to make the training a better fit for the intended audience. Isn’t that a function of the workshop development staff? It often is. But in smaller organizations the trainer may need to be a Jack—or Jill—of all trades. And larger organizations often expect their trainers to have some design skills.
