Portfolio management includes the ongoing selection and rationalization of formal training content, such as classroom and online courses, as well as informal content, such as books, documents, videos, and other knowledge-based assets that are a part of the training experience. Along with keeping learning curricula fresh and timely, the learning leader must ensure the curation of internal as well as externally aggregated content. The ability to manage large portfolios of learning content using organized and blended methodologies is instrumental to reducing costs and ensuring proper program positioning.
