Robert Cornish
I've been fascinated with business as long as I can remember. I've wanted to be an entrepreneur most of my life and closely followed other entrepreneurs I admire. Over the years I have constantly studied the successful patterns of people and companies that have made it and set the pace. I've implemented those successes into my own life and then developed my own through various ventures. Ultimately, as you go, the picture becomes clearer and it gets easier and easier to see the next steps. I founded Richter10.2 Media Group with my partner Wil Seabrook in March 2008. Today the company employs nearly 60 people on staff with thousands of clients around the globe. I have been featured in such publications as Bloomberg Businessweek and Selling Power.
I grew up following and watching the growth of a plastics company that my father played a major role in as a senior executive, one that grew from $1 million in revenue to a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange with more than $2 billion in annual revenues—all in the span of about 10 years. The observations and lessons associated with this experience, discussing business ideas or overhearing my father talk about business while in social meetings, helped shape the way I thought about business and how I approach my own company strategies.
