INTRODUCTION

Writing this during the pandemic has given us a heightened perspective on the use of virtual teams and virtual meetings. Everything we have written in the book about the basics of good teamwork still applies to working virtually, but we could think of it as working harder at the basics when you are meeting remotely – a sort of fundamentals plus, because things become amplified when working remotely.
