Chapter 6. Finding Additional Fees

It is often said, “Little things mean a lot.” In the case of additional fees that come as surprises to clients, I also find this saying to be quite applicable. Advisors will frequently get more caught up in “the bigger picture” and neglect to go over the smaller, sometimes annoying fees clients may come across. So, here are some additional charges you may see with various products. Keep in mind they will vary from entity to entity and product to product. The examples given are meant to give a ballpark idea and may or may not apply to your own situation.
