The irony of writing a book on simplicity is that it has been one of the most complex things I’ve ever done. With so much to research and so many angles to explore, it became glaringly apparent that answering even the most basic questions on the topic wasn’t going to be easy. From the beginning, I noticed there was a wealth of information on the concept of complexity, but surprisingly little on simplicity. In fact, there was tremendous confusion around what exactly is simplicity, anyway?!
It all felt so … complicated.
