It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
When seeing the words wide angle most photographers think about landscape and architectural scenes since both genres depend on capturing maximum breadth and depth. This chapter looks at wide-angle lenses in this context, but it also takes a broader view and includes a section on using these lenses for street photography and human subjects. Unjustly, portrait photography and wide-angle lenses are often considered to be mutually exclusive.
