Balancing using the HTTP connector instead of AJP

In this recipe, we will learn how to balance a WildFly node using an HTTP connector instead of the binary protocol, AJP. The purpose of this recipe is to show you how to use a different connector, not how to really balance a service provided by WildFly. For this reason, we will use just a WildFly node, fronted by Apache. We also assume that Apache HTTPD installation and configuration are based on the first two recipes of this chapter.

Getting ready
