Definition
Showstoppers can be devastating, terminating barriers to success. If you proceed with your idea, is there certain to be a forceful pushback that stops your venture?[1] Will the public announcement of your existence result in your being obliterated by a competitor, a legal barrier, another country, or worst of all, someone who does not trust the legal system for adequate redress against you (such that they take the law into their own hands)? Note the polarity on this score. The more you lack showstoppers, the higher you score.
