Most people have never seen or worked with a security system as complete and intricate as Windows 2000. Experienced UNIX programmers are familiar with UNIX's file security system, and with the idea of root privileges, but these systems are primitive compared to Windows 2000. There are many areas in which Windows 2000 security is adapting to support the Internet-based enterprise.
