15.2. MMC Interfaces and Methods
One of the things that is always a problem, when one starts to work with a new capability of an operating system, is knowing what programmatic interfaces are available. So we have summarized the MMC interfaces and given a sample of an interface call. Table 15.1 shows the COM Interfaces Implemented by MMC and the COM Interfaces Implemented by the snap-in; Table 15.2 shows the COM IComponent Interfaces, and Table 15.3 shows a function call construct. As these tables clearly show, a snap-in is nothing but a COM component.
