Planning for Coexistence with Windows NT 4.0

Coexistence between Active Directory and Windows NT 4.0 is the most common type of coexistence scenario. It is also the type of coexistence that is the briefest. If an organization is currently deployed on Windows NT 4.0 and is able to prove that Windows 2000 and Active Directory are viable technologies, there is little reason for remaining on Windows NT 4.0.
