Windows 2000 Server supports a much wider range of hardware devices than the earlier Windows NT Server operating system, including support for:

  • Plug and Play devices

  • Legacy (non-Plug and Play) devices

  • USB and IEEE 1394 devices

  • Multiple simultaneous monitors
