I know many Microsoft Windows 98 users who were crying fifteen minutes after installing Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional. They were mostly novice users who didn't appreciate the business benefits of this new operating system. Somehow, people tend to get very attached to their favorite hardware and software. They almost always shed their tears because their favorite programs and favorite hardware didn't work.
