Your cloud PC is, well, in the cloud. Which means that in order to connect to it and use it you must use a network. In fact, you must use the mother of all networks, the Internet. Because the network is so critical to using a cloud PC, it is worth gaining knowledge about how networks work, or at least taking a refresher.
In this chapter, you learn about computer networks and how your cloud PC works with them. You learn how local computer networks work and how the network of networks, known as the Internet, works. You learn how your cloud PC can talk to things on your local network, like printers, and the Windows 365 Remote Desktop client is recommended. Finally, we take a look at how Microsoft networking works and how it is the home network of your cloud PC.
