Turning Windows Features On or Off
Windows Features are a little bit different than Uninstall or change a program and Uninstall an update because it appears in a separate dialog box on top of the Programs and Features window. Also, you don't uninstall Windows Features; you turn them on or off with checkboxes. Depending on how Windows 7 was installed on your computer, in most cases the features are always installed on your computer and you are just turning their use and visibility on or off.
