8.9. Create a Rule Quickly from a Message
You can define a Windows Live Mail rule by creating the rule from an existing message. In Windows Live Mail, you use rules to examine incoming messages to set certain conditions. For example, if a message has a particular word or phrase in the Subject line or body, you can move the message to a special folder. Similarly, you can check for messages with attachments and elect not to download them from the mail server.
Perhaps the most common rule condition is to use the e-mail address of the sender. You can redirect the message to a folder for that person's messages, send out an automatic reply, or even automatically delete the message if it comes from someone from whom you do not want to have contact. ...
