3.5. Switch to Advanced Sharing to Improve Security

If you share files with other network users, you can configure Windows 7 to control which users can access your files and what actions they can perform on those files.

If your computer is part of a network, it is common to give other users access to some of your files by sharing one or more folders with the network. By default, Windows 7 runs the Sharing Wizard when you opt to share a folder.
