So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding Accounts to the People App
The People app lets you connect to various social networks and display the accounts of your friends and followers. Though this app, you can connect to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Outlook, and Google. After you set up access to your various accounts, you can view the individual profiles of all your friends and other contacts. You can also contact them via the various social networks, view their locations, and access their full profiles on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other networks. The People app essentially acts as a one-stop shop for viewing and communicating with all of your social network contacts. This task explains how to set up various accounts in the People app.
1 Open People app: Open the People app by clicking its Start screen tile.
2 View app: The People app opens, displaying options to connect to your Facebook friends, Twitter contacts, Exchange contacts, and LinkedIn contacts.
3 Add your Facebook account: Click Facebook friends to connect to your Facebook account.
