Configuring Automatic Updates
If you prefer to know what’s happening with your computer, it’s possible to control the automatic updating by following these steps:
1. Press Windows Logo+X and then click Control Panel. The Control Panel window appears.
2. Select System and Security, Windows Update. (If you’re viewing Control Panel using icons instead of categories, just click Windows Update directly.) This opens the Windows Update window, which shows you the current update status and enables you to view installed updates.
Note
To view the updates installed on your computer, click the View Update History link.
3. Click the Change Settings link ...
