I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using the Windows 8–Style Remote Desktop Client
To start a connection to a remote computer from a Windows 8 computer using the Windows 8–style client, go to the Start screen and type remote. If Remote Desktop appears, select it. If it does not appear under Apps, go to the Store app and download it.

To download the Remote Desktop app, go to the Start screen, type store, and select the Store app. Bring up the charms. Select the Search charm and type remote desktop. Select and install the Remote Desktop app published by Microsoft. It’s free.
