9. Printers and Devices

If there is one area of technology that Windows leads in, it is device support. Since most desktop users are running Windows (and the operating system in second place isn’t even close), manufacturers build printers, scanners, mice, displays, cameras, and other devices to work with Windows first and foremost. Microsoft has a long history of supporting device manufacturers, and it has developed a very rich device model.
