The Windows 98 components you installed during Setup are by no means set in stone. You're free at any time to add new components and to remove components you don't need. The good news is that, thanks to its Add/Remove Programs feature, Windows 98 makes it a breeze to install and uninstall chunks of the system. (If you want to delete Windows entirely, head for the section titled “Uninstalling Windows 98,” later in this chapter.)
For starters, you need to get to the Windows Setup tab of the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box:
Select Start | Settings | Control Panel.
In the Control Panel window, open the Add/Remove Programs icon to display the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box.
