Understanding the Message Folders
You'll spend the bulk of your Outlook Express time working within one message folder or another, so you'll want to get comfortable with how these folders work. To that end, this section runs through a few folder techniques, including navigating the message lists, reading messages, customizing the layout, sorting and finding messages, and more.
Importing Messages and Addresses
If you had an email program installed on your machine when you installed Windows 98, when you select a message folder Outlook Express will offer to import the messages and address book from the old program (see the Figure 34.3). This is a good idea, so if you decide to go ahead, you need to follow these steps:
