13.3 Creating a Blog with Subtext
Working on a team requires a lot of communication, but communication in and of itself isn’t enough. There has to be an efficient means of distributing information to interested stakeholders and archiving it for later searching and retrieval.
Two types of information are typically generated in a project: a chronological stream of announcements and reference information. While Wikis are well suited to the latter option, blogs (internal and external) are great for the former. They serve as an excellent forum to disseminate announcements and information, as well as a very good way to foster feedback on decisions.
Subtext, a blogging engine for the ASP.NET platform, is a perfect solution. Subtext supports a rich set of features for collaboration and blogging.
