23.5 Handling FTP More Efficiently with FileZilla

Simple FTP sessions shouldn’t be a big hassle if you’re just looking to do some basic uploads and file management on the remote server, but trying to understand which versions of what files are located on which server can quickly confuse anyone.
FileZilla gives users an elegant tool to handle many FTP tasks. It’s a sensibly created tool with an intuitive GUI and a surprisingly rich set of features. Unlike command-line clients, FileZilla gives you a clear picture of your FTP environment on the server and client sides of your connection. Additionally, FileZilla is much more powerful and flexible, offering you the ability to queue file transfers and accomplish those transfers via multiple simultaneous connections.
