6. Step 2: Determine the Printers, Servers, and Clients That Will Be Included
The goal of this step is to document the number and type of printers, as well as the servers, in the existing Print Services infrastructure that will be included in the project scope, and to compile a list of clients that will use these printers.
Taking inventory of these resources will help the architect understand how they interact and how to incorporate them in the overall design. This inventory will be used in Step 3 as the Print Services infrastructure is designed.
