Windows Firewall problems typically take the form of a connectivity failure. In other words, a user will be unable to connect to a server. Unfortunately, connectivity failures can be caused by many different factors. When troubleshooting connectivity problems, begin by determining whether Windows Firewall is the root cause of the problem.
