Deployment Steps
Deploying DNS requires adding the DNS server role, configuring the zones that the DNS server will host, configuring your DHCP server with the new DNS server address, and manually configuring DNS clients that have static IP addresses. Fortunately, each of these steps is straightforward and can be accomplished in as little as a few minutes. This section describes these tasks in more detail.
