Chapter 12. Designing Certificate Templates
Certificate templates are used by Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) to define the contents of certificates issued by enterprise certification authorities (CAs). The Certificate Templates console is an easy-to-use interface for creating and customizing certificate templates.
