Chapter 23. Virtual Private Networking
Virtual private networking allows users to connect to corporate resources from off-site locations, such as a home office or hotel room. This chapter discusses the certificate deployment required to implement client-to-gateway virtual private network (VPN) solutions.

It is also possible to deploy gateway-to-gateway VPN solutions that join two offices over a public network such as the Internet. The certificates required for these connections are similar to the client-to-gateway scenarios and are not discussed in this chapter.
