Examining Domain Design Features
AD DS has evolved over the years and has added additional functionality with Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, and finally Windows Server 2012. Some of these functionality improvements have changed some of the design concepts associated with Windows Server 2012. These functionality changes are as follows:
