Configuring a DHCP Server to Restrict Client Leases Based on the NPS Policy
After NPS has been set up, the DHCP scope needs to be configured to use the NAP server to validate the client’s health before granting them unrestricted IP addresses to the corporate network. In the example we’ve been using so far, this would restrict only those clients without an enabled firewall from getting a valid IP address to the corporate network.
To configure all DHCP scopes for NAP, follow these steps:
1. On a server with the DHCP Server Tools installed, click the Server Manager tile on the taskbar.
2. When the Server Manager console opens, click Tools, and then select the DHCP option.
